Black Mole Powder Oaxaca Style 400g - Cocina Mestiza

Powder Mole Cooking Recipe

  • 1.5 liters of water (1500ml) of water or broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pieces of onion, celery, parsley, and carrot (optional)
  • 1.5 kg of chicken in pieces
  • 1 package of (400 g) Cocina Mestiza Mole Negro powder
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil with the salt and the pieces of
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and remove the chicken pieces, vegetables, and any chicken fat that accumulates on the surface of the broth
  4. Return the pot with the broth to the stove and add the mole powder. Over medium heat, stir until the mole dissolves and thickens slightly. (Approx. 10 minutes).
  5. Add the chicken pieces and once it boils, it's ready.
  6. To serve, sprinkle with sesame seeds. (optional)

INGREDIENTS:
