🧺 Ingredients (from the kit):

  • 1 egg (or tofu scramble for vegan)
  • ½ avocado, sliced or mashed
  • Sliced red onion
  • Fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • Crumbled chees, vegan cheese or feta
  • El Cielo – Natural Green Habanero Sauce (for extra heat!)
  • Lime wedge

👩🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat the Beans
    In a small saucepan, warm 200–250g of refried beans over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add a splash of water for a creamier consistency, if desired.

  2. Warm the Salsa
    In a large non-stick skillet, heat about ⅓ of the La Doña Green Salsa jar (approx. 120ml) over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

  3. Toss in the Totopos
    Add a large handful (60–70g) of white corn totopos to the salsa. Gently fold to coat evenly. Let them cook for 2–3 minutes, just until lightly softened but not soggy.

  4. Optional Egg or Tofu
    In a separate pan, fry an egg or scramble tofu for a plant-based protein boost.

  5. Build Your Plate
    Spread warm refried beans onto your plate. Layer with the saucy green chilaquiles. Top with your egg or tofu (if using).

  6. Garnish & Serve
    Add your favorite toppings: avocado, red onion, coriander, and crumbled cheese. Finish with a drizzle of El Cielo Green Habanero Sauce for an extra kick and a squeeze of fresh lime.
