🍳 Easy Huevos Divorciados (Serves 1–2)

🧺 Ingredients (from the kit):

🥚 2 eggs
🌿 2 tbsp Ki Gourmet – La Doña Green Serrano Chili Salsa
🔥 2 tbsp Ki Gourmet – La Llorona Morita Chili Salsa
🍛 200–250g El Mexicano – Bayo Refried Beans
🌽 2 Organic White Corn Tortillas

🔥 Optional Toppings:

Sliced avocado or guacamole
Chopped coriander (cilantro)
Crumbled cheese, vegan cheese or feta
El Cielo – Natural Green Habanero Sauce (for extra heat)
Lime wedges

👩🍳 Instructions:

Warm the Beans
In a small saucepan, heat 200–250g of refried beans over low heat. Add a splash of water to loosen them up, if needed.
Heat the Tortillas
Warm 2 tortillas on a hot skillet for about 30 seconds per side or wrap in a clean towel and microwave for 20–30 seconds.
Fry the Eggs
In a lightly oiled pan, fry 2 eggs sunny-side up (or to your liking). Season with a pinch of salt.
Plate the Tortillas
Place one tortilla on each side of the plate. Spread a generous spoonful of refried beans on each tortilla.
Top with Eggs & Salsa
Carefully place one fried egg over each tortilla.
- Spoon La Doña Green Salsa over one egg.
- Spoon La Llorona Morita Red Salsa over the other.
Add Toppings & Serve
Finish with avocado slices, a sprinkle of coriander, or cheese if desired. Add a drizzle of green habanero sauce for extra heat and a squeeze of lime for brightness.
